A collection of A/B tests and site optimization experiences built for SOREL.com. Each test started with a data-backed problem, a clear hypothesis, and measurable outcomes.
Customers who search convert at a significantly higher rate, but the default search was a small icon tucked into the header, easy to overlook entirely. The redesign pulled search out of hiding and restyled it to make use of the real estate it deserved. On desktop, a persistent, animated search bar lives in the utility navigation so it's always visible and always inviting. On mobile, the results view was optimized to put product imagery in the forefront instead of text-heavy link lists, so customers are comparing products at a glance instead of reading their way to a decision. Both experiences also save recent searches, letting customers pick up where they left off instead of retyping on every visit.
